The chapter was formed in 1994 under the name of the Prince George’s County Women Lawyers’ Caucus. The main focus of this chapter is on juvenile causes. The chapter has formed a relationship with the Thomas J. S. Waxter Children’s Center and provides numerous programs and support for juvenile girls.

The Montgomery County Chapter of the Maryland Women’s Bar Association is a dynamic chapter with active participation by its members.
