The Montgomery County Chapter of the Maryland Women’s Bar Association is a dynamic chapter with active participation by its members. We host several signature events each year: a Judicial Reception for our Circuit and District Court judges and court personnel; Lunch and Learn events regarding networking, personal finance and work/life balance; the annual Holiday Party at which we solicit donations for a local charities; the Mentorship Program which connects our lawyers with local high school students interested in careers in the legal field; the Breast Cancer virtual walk every October. In addition, we host a triennial auction (most recently in 2023), to support our Chapter and provide charitable donations to local organizations and scholarships to local students. The Chapter hosts new and exciting events each year depending on the needs of our community and our legal community.
Our Chapter also has its own Foundation from which we make several scholarships each year to female students at Montgomery College and area law schools.
