Pursuant to our Bylaws, the WBA formed a committee to nominate officers for the 2026–2027 bar year. The Nominating Committee has moved the nomination of the following persons for the 2026-2027 year as follows:

Tracy Miller
Vice-President
Kerri Cohen
Treasurer
Kiernan Waters
Secretary
As provided for in our Bylaws, President-Elect, Kristina Badalian, will become the President without nomination or vote by the membership. Current President, Jane A. Canter, automatically becomes Immediate Past President and an ex-officio member of the Executive Board.
If anyone is interested in nominating additional candidates, they may do so by submitting a petition signed by fifteen (15) members in good standing. Such petition must be received by Maria L. Twigg by Friday, March 20, 2026.
The officer positions open for nomination are President-Elect, Vice-President, Secretary, and Treasurer. Pursuant to our Bylaws, if no additional candidates are submitted, the candidates nominated by the Nominating Committee take office at the Annual Meeting. If additional candidates are submitted, all WBA Members in good standing may vote at the Annual Meeting on April 10, 2026 and April 11, 2026.
